Today, I want to talk about linking our every thought, to our purpose in life. You may not know what your purpose is in life, but this is something that I encourage you to think about.

What is it that you want to create in this lifetime?

What do you want to feel?

Who do you want to be surrounded by?

What impact do you want to have on the world?

This would be your purpose.

It may be a huge goal that you want to accomplish, that you would do anything in the world to achieve. This is your purpose. When we link our every thought to our purpose, we become so much more powerful, in every moment, every decision we make or every thought we have, we can ask, is this helping me get closer to accomplishing my purpose?

If it’s not, don’t do it or do less of it, but have your purpose be the centralizer of all your thoughts. And along the way, I mean, I know in my life I failed over and over and over again, before I achieved some of my ultimate dreams. But you don’t look upon that as a failure because when we fail, that’s how we become strong.

That’s how we overcome our weaknesses. That’s how we learn and that’s how we grow. So the ultimate indicator of success when that’s happening, when you’re on this path of trying to achieve your purpose, but you’re failing over and over again. I want you to determine the amount of success you’ve had by the strength of character that you’ve developed within yourself.

Because along that journey, when you are failing, you’re learning, you’re growing and you’re becoming even more inspired to make this happen. Ultimately, you are developing a strength of character, which is so incredibly important as far as everything else that you’re going to come across in your lifetime.

So rather than waiting. To feel successful, to feel like you’ve succeeded only when you’ve hit that ultimate target, or you have the exact life that you’re dreaming of creating.  Embrace the journey. Be able to recognize the strength of character that you’re building throughout every failure, throughout every disappointment and have that fuel you along the way.

When you stay connected to your purpose, to your why, nothing will stop you. Nothing will get in the way no matter how many times you fall down, you will get back up again. You will dust yourself off and you will find another way and you’ll make it happen ultimately. But when we fail, that’s us overcoming weakness, getting stronger and learning something new.

That’s going to lead us to that ultimate victory and accomplishing our purpose. So stay connected. Every thought you have stay connected with your purpose. Every decision you make, stay connected to your purpose, and every step along the way, recognize how you are becoming stronger and better able to take that one step closer to achieving your ultimate dream.
