I want you all to have an amazing week this week, and I’m going to give you one tip on something I do with every single thing in every moment.

And that is using the power of intention.

Before any meeting, I will take 30 seconds and think about how I want it to proceed.

How I want to present. The impact I want to have, the message I want to share. I’m very intentional about every single thing that I do in my life. It starts with literally opening my eyes and feeling grateful. For the gift of being able to see with these two eyes and thinking about the things that I’m grateful for in my life, which puts me in a really great state where my energy is such, that I know I’m going to have a great day.

And then I think about what I want to accomplish on this day, whether I have meetings or athletes that I’m coaching or a project that I’m working on. I decide I’m going to put my heart and soul in to it. I’m going to be fully present in every moment. And when I have time with my wife, I’m gonna be fully present in the moment with her so we can truly experience the richness, the depth of our relationship. 

I’m intentional about every single thing that I do throughout the day. I’m not just leaving it up to chance if it’s going to be a good day or a bad day. I go in intending to make it a great day, to make it a great week.

I’m gonna show up authentically with all my heart and soul. I’m going to be open. I’m going to be loving. I’m going to be kind. I’m going to give of myself, of my heart, of my soul, of my time, of my talents.

Be intentional about what you want to create in your life on a daily basis. Just using the power of intention is going to see you being so much more effective, so much more authentic and experiencing so much more of the richness of this beautiful life that we are so blessed to live.

So be intentional.

When I talk about presence, that is something that you do need to set up in advance. I am going to be fully present for my work, when I’m working, for my partner, when I’m together with them. For my friends, when I’m together with them. For my family. For my workout. If I’m working out, I’m going to be intentional about what I want to get out of this workout today.

I want it to help strengthen me and help me heal and help energize me and lead me to be even more efficient and effective in my work. Be intentional and be present in everything that you’re doing. And I know that you’re going to have an amazing day, an amazing week. And if you continue to do this on a daily basis, an amazing life.
