Have A Vision

Good morning everyone, and welcome to the Bed Head Chronicles.

I am here in the hospital with my amazing wife, Bek, whose been by my side every second. I’m so deeply grateful.

But I was thinking today about how, especially in tough times or if we’re experiencing something we don’t want to be experiencing, we learn what we do want in life or where we want to go oftentimes by experiencing that which we don’t want, that which we don’t enjoy.

So, part of those bad experiences is to remind you of the good that you want in your life. What you want to feel. The joy you want to feel.

And it’s so important in every moment to know exactly where you want to go. Where are you know? But where do you ultimately want to be? And envision yourself there. See and feel yourself there.

I see myself vital, healthy, and strong and fit. I see myself back doing the things I love and helping people, touching lives, and making a difference in the world. And I think about that all the time. I feel the sensation of what it will feel like to be doing that again — how strong and vital and healthy I feel. I sit in those feelings and recreate it so I know exactly what I’m working for every single day.

So, have a vision. We all know that in life, having a vision is so crucial. Know what you want in life, whether it’s joy, health, happiness, peace or connection, success, prosperity, or abundance. But have a vision in your life. Not just what you want to achieve, but how you want to feel, who you want to be surrounded with, how you want to make the people you love feel, how you want to make the people around you feel. Have a vision.

I know my vision is what gives me so much strength every single day. Through the good days and the bad days, my vision and my knowing what I’m working towards, where I’m headed and where I’m going gives me so much strength and so much hope.

Thank you so much, everyone, and have an amazing day.
